Terms of use

This is a translation for your convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.

1. Scope

These terms of use apply to the website fse-esport.de, the user account and the CS2RPG game servers of FsE eSport. The provider is Marcel Bartholome (see legal notice). By registering or playing on our servers you accept these terms.

2. Our service

CS2RPG is a free game extension for Counter-Strike 2: you earn XP, level up and buy skills with credits. We strive for smooth operation but do not guarantee any particular availability. We may develop the service further at any time, in particular adjust skills, prices, values and leaderboards, reset game progress (for example for a new season) or discontinue the service.

3. User account

  • You may create an account from the age of 16. If you are not yet of age, you need your parents' or guardians' consent.
  • Your details must be correct, and the email address must be yours.
  • Keep your password secret. If you notice misuse of your account, please let us know.
  • Only link your own Steam account.
  • Usernames and player names must not be insulting, discriminatory, extremist, promotional or misleading, and must not suggest that you are part of the team.
  • There is no right to an account.

4. Fair play and conduct

In particular, the following is prohibited:

  • cheats, hacks and other programs, scripts or macros that give you an unfair advantage;
  • exploiting bugs or exploits - please report bugs in the feedback board or to support@fse-esport.de;
  • manipulating XP, credits, levels, skills or prestige, for example through arranged kills, second accounts ("boosting", "farming") or tampering with our interfaces;
  • attacks on our servers, the website or our interfaces, for example overloading, scans or unauthorised access;
  • insults, harassment, hate speech, spam and illegal content, including in the chat;
  • selling or trading accounts or game progress.

5. Community: feedback and private messages

When signed in, you can report bugs, make suggestions and vote in the feedback board and send private messages to other users. The following also applies:

  • Stay fair and objective. Insults, harassment, threats, hate speech and discrimination are prohibited - including in private messages.
  • No advertising and no spam; do not keep writing to anyone against their will.
  • Do not publish other people's personal data (such as names, addresses, photos) or illegal content.
  • Do not pretend to be someone else, in particular not a team member.
  • Please do not report security vulnerabilities publicly in the board but to support@fse-esport.de.

You are responsible for your posts. You grant us the free, non-exclusive right to show them on the website, and we may freely use your suggestions to develop CS2RPG further; there is no claim to implementation or remuneration. The team may categorise, pin, lock or delete posts. You can report content that violates these terms to the team using "Report".

6. Virtual game content

XP, credits, levels, skills, prestige and leaderboard ranks are virtual game content without monetary value. You acquire no rights to them; there is no claim that they will be kept, transferred or paid out. They may change or disappear as a result of game adjustments, resets or measures under section 7.

7. Measures in case of violations

If you violate these terms, we may - depending on the severity and taking your legitimate interests into account - warn you, delete posts or messages, mute you for feedback and messages, reset your game progress in whole or in part, exclude you from the servers temporarily or permanently, or suspend or delete your account.

8. Liability

Our service is free of charge. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. Otherwise our liability is excluded; this also applies to the loss of game progress.

9. Ending the use

You can stop using the service at any time and have your account deleted by emailing support@fse-esport.de. We may end the use with reasonable notice, or immediately in case of serious violations.

10. Counter-Strike 2 and Steam

To play, you need Counter-Strike 2 and a Steam account, which are subject to the terms of Valve Corporation. CS2RPG and FsE eSport are not an official offering of Valve and are not affiliated with Valve. Counter-Strike and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms if there is a valid reason, for example new features or a change in the law. We will announce significant changes on the website in advance. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the service.

12. Final provisions

German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you live remain unaffected. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
